Here are our racing tips for today’s ITV races from Aintree….
AINTREE
🏇 14:20 – Pied Piper – evens
Encouraging start to hurdles career suggest he’s rightly fancied to lead the way in this Grade 1 contest for Gordon Elliott; stepped up his game considerably to finish 3rd in the Triumph at Cheltenham.
🏇 14:55 – Kemboy – 5/1
Freshness could be in his favour having skipped the Cheltenham Festival before being redeployed to this assignment; tends to enjoy himself around these parts too having won the 2019 renewal of this race.
🏇 15:30 – Zanahiyr – 9/4
Surely deserves his time to take top billing having been forced to play second fiddle to the almighty Honeysuckle in outings since the turn of the year; this longer trip could be one that plays to his consistent strengths.
🏇 16:05 – Porlock Bay – 15/2
Chance taken on this wily veteran forcing the initiative in the Foxhunters after two frustrating runner-up efforts when favourite this term; St James’ Place win at last year’s Cheltenham Festival suggests he merits serious consideration in an open-looking chase.
🏇 16:40 – Bold Enough – 12/1 EW
Potential to be the bold choice in the ITV finale given eye-opening run when 3rd over this distance at last year’s festival; seven-year-old could put up an intriguing for showing for Henry de Bromhead having sharpened up his act for this assignment with a midfield finish at Gowran Park in March.
